EXCELLENCE IN LIVE LESSONS
Live learning is delivering online classes in a live virtual classroom where teachers and students meet together to learn with voice, video and a digital whiteboard. Live online classes require students and teachers to be online at the same time.
As part of The Excellence Academy live lesson package, all students will be provided with free access to Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Sharepoint.
Students will participate in lessons that are structured to meet their age and subject requirements. Students can enrol on a course based on one or more subjects on a half termly basis. Lesson content adheres to exam board and national curriculum criteria across all key stages. Teachers can track student learning real time and monitor progress.
Live learning is as effective as face to face lessons. Students can access their teacher and have lessons anywhere. Live learning is simple, all that is need is internet access and a webcam which most laptops, tablets and mobile phones have. And finally, live learning is safe as we are using a world accredited Microsoft learning package.
The Excellence Academy has committed to provide student access to its on-line resource bank through innovative use of Microsoft Sharepoint. This enables students and parents to access the Sharepoint E-Learning portal 24/7 for a whole host of additional resources to further support students.

Our staff have compelted the Microsoft Certified Educator Program ito enable staff to bridge the gap between technology skills and innovative teaching. Educators holding a Microsoft Certified Educator certification can prove they have the skills needed to provide rich, customized learning experiences for their students that incorporate critical 21st century skills using Microsoft tools. The benefits of this certification include:
